Assisted Living 101 Discovery Session

What is a Discovery Session?
A Discovery Session consists of us coming into your home and assisting you with the knowledge that you will need to make one of the most important decisions you will ever have to make.

How will I benefit?
You will be able to make an informed decision that best benefits your loved one by placing them with a care provider that accurately matches their needs.

  • You will know how to tour facilities
  • When to tour
  • What questions to ask
  • What to look for
  • What facilities to visit - saving you time & money
  • You will learn where “ Not “to place your loved one
We will provide you with a list of “The“ questions to ask each facility and what red flags to look for.

You will also receive a “Needs Discovery" to find out what facilities might best suit your loved one (Saving you valuable time & money) You will learn the differences between IL, AL, Secured Care, and Skilled Care. You will learn how not to be pressured into making a decision. How not to leave a deposit until you are ready. Learn about benefits that you may not know exist. And, avoid making costly mistakes when applying for ALTCS.

How will I know where to place my loved one?
We will provide you with detailed information on only the facilities that best suit your loved ones needs. Of course you always make the final decision.

Is there a fee?
Although there is a fee for us to complete a Discovery Session, the knowledge that you will have to make an informed decision is “PRICELESS”.

How much does a Discovery Session cost?
The Discovery Process costs a minimal $200.00 and can save a family from experiencing the significant emotional and financial costs that can occur from selecting a facility that fails to meet you and your loved one's needs.
